    Hi John,

One of the functions of some trojan threats is to prevent other pieces of software (like spyware doctor) from running. In these instances, you’ll need to start your computer in safe mode to disable the autorun feature of the malware. Follow these instructions to re-run the scan and remove the threat permanently from your PC:

    1) Shutdown your PC and wait until your computer powers off.
    2) Wait 30 seconds, then restart your computer
    3) As soon as the computer starts booting up, press the F8 key repeatedly
    4) Select ‘Safe Mode’ from the Windows Advanced Boot Options Menu
    5) Once Windows boots succesfully, start Spyware Doctor and rerun the scan.

Let me know how you go.

    Cheers,
    Chris B
